TeknoSeed has a high quality deal flow of investment opportunities originating from relevant academic institutions and the business environment in southern Sweden. Being a seed- and early-stage player, TeknoSeed aims at being fast to deal with while maintaining the highest quality due diligence standards when sourcing new investments.

Active ownership
TeknoSeed actively participates in the development of the portfolio companies through day-to-day contacts with the management team and through Board representation in each new investment. TeknoSeed can leverage its existing network around key regional institutions such as universities, research parks, as well as our current portfolio companies. This facilitates knowledge transfer within the group of portfolio companies. Further, matching talent with experience being a key aspect of developing a successful hi-tech business, the possibilities for recruiting key staff as well as Board Members are vastly improved.

Syndication
Apart from building businesses, a great part of our contribution to a portfolio company is to set up plans for the further financing of the company. TeknoSeed is favourably disposed towards initial syndication. Our network includes most of the larger Nordic VCs that could be syndicating partners from start or invest at a later stage.
